I’m an assistant professor of National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. My research examines the politics of oil and natural gas resources, the security implications of climate change, and great powers' competition for international influence.
My book, The Oil Wars Myth: Petroleum and the Causes of International Conflict, was published by Cornell University Press in 2020.
